About Us

The CARE4 Partnership is a shared digital health services partnership between Collingwood General & Marine Hospital (CGMH), Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH), Headwaters Health Care Centre (HHCC) and Royal Victoria Regional Healthcare Centre (RVH) The CARE4 partnership is focused on leveraging advanced healthcare technologies, keeping pace with rapidly changing needs for advanced technologies and digital security, all to ensure that staff and providers can work efficiently, safely, and securely in meeting the needs of our patients.

Together, the CARE4 hospitals share the technology and resources that have enabled them to achieve a high level of digital maturity that would have been more costly and require a longer timeline to achieve on their own. The CARE4 hospitals are each HIMSS EMRAM6 Certified (Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model) which defines their level of digital health maturity as being well above the national average. These shared technologies and resources are managed by the RVH - Regional Digital Health team.

Digital health solutions continue to evolve and aide in transforming the healthcare sector, whether it is a patient scheduling themselves for a virtual visit or a physician seamlessly reviewing a patient’s lab results from another facility, technology is an essential and strategic enabler of modern healthcare. The relentless dedication and collaboration of the CARE4 partners ensures secure digital health technologies, excellent utilization of data/analytics, and fosters innovation to meet the goals of the shared partnership while empowering patients. Together we will continue to achieve great things.
